WHO WE ARE
Transe-en-Danse is a socio-artistic dance company that brings together people from diverse cultures, backgrounds and migration journeys. We create performances and workshops emerge from real encounters, shared stories and collective movement.
Our artistic approach blends contemporary dance with lived human experiences. We explore how bodies can express resilience, identity and the complex emotions behind displacement, cultural encounters and belonging.
Our work is deeply social. We collaborate with migrants, refugees, professional dancers and local communities, not to speak for them, but to build spaces where their realities can be seen, heard and transformed through movement.
Our Mission and History
Founded by Coline Billen in 2002, Transe‑en‑Danse became a non‑profit association in 2008 with a clear mission to promote intercultural dialogue, foster a culture of non‑violence, and encourage active citizenship.

We pursue these goals through:
